REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS—SEEKING ONE-OF-A-KIND FURNITURE (CLOSED 9/2/2020)
The Corazón de Trinidad Creative District (Creative District/CD) seeks artist(s) to design and build several pieces of functional art for the offices and/or multi-use areas in the Space to Create Commons on Main Street in downtown Trinidad.
The Creative District was awarded a $5,000 Colorado Cares grant from Colorado Creative Industries to help furnish areas of the Commons.
We seek to provide work for our creative workforce and keep the cycle of funding in our community and local region. There are some salvaged pieces available from interior demolition of the buildings, and we encourage any incorporation of these or other up-cycled materials that you might have personal access to. The Commons is to be a “space to create” and we want it to reflect that creativity.
All items must be completed and delivered by November 1, 2020.

project. You will be asked to provide:
A Letter of Interest with a description and budget for your proposal
THREE images (MIN) of work examples (jpg format)
A short bio or resume

The Creative District Board of Directors will select individual(s) for the creativity and
quality of their work. Selected artists/designers will work with a board committee to
develop a final design and budget.
